About
I am a Postdoctoral researcher at the University of Queensland, investigating historical changes to marine fisheries and megafauna around Australia since European colonisation. My PhD was based at the University of York, UK (completed 2011) where I researched changes to UK marine ecosystems over the last two hundred years as a result of fishing activities. Through my research I hope to reveal more about the large scale of change to ocean habitats thus providing marine managers with appropriate baselines by which to set their restoration and recovery targets.
